WHY MBA STUDENTS CAN BE AN ENTREPRENEUR ?

All businesses whether big or small owe their existence & success to that one or few persons who had the courage & determination to conceive an idea & make it blossom into a reality. Samsung, Apple, Microsoft, Reliance, Tata, Dabur, Godrej, & the like all are the brain child of a person(s) who thought beyond the regular.

A degree in MBA may not legally be required to start a business but practically it is very valuable to help a person in initiating his/her own enterprise. It helps a person develop an edge over his/her contemporaries.

The MBA program equips you with skills related to business planning, marketing, strategy, finance, decision making. HR management. You need to be great in identifying customer needs & wants, their changing preferences & lifestyles, other factors in the external & internal environment. These are exactly the skills required to successfully run a business. The combination of entrepreneurial skills with business management skills is the most ideal & invincible. A combination of these is not available in most of the B-schools because they focus only on the prescribed curriculum & placement of the students. Moreover, there are very few students in every batch who aspire to be entrepreneurs, so the institutes do not want to put in so much of effort on handful of students.
