ANNUAL EVENTS


"All work and no play,makes Jack a dull boy" is the saying our students believe in. To make their stay at LBSIMDS fun and rewarding , they organize a number of events at the institute .They have set up a Fourm-UTKARSH of their own for the purpose .The events are :

Samanvaya

LBSIMDS, one of the oldest B-schools in northern India, organizes ‘Samanvay’ – a sumptuous freshets’ welcome party for the new batches. Social services and high spirits mark the welcome party. The party manifests youth and enthusiasm at its full flow. The party scripts a beginning of celebrations and hard work students would be encompassing for coming crucial years.

Rukhsat

To bid alien to the passing out batches with a heavy heart and wish them a bright and prosperous future, students of LBSIMDS organizes a farewell party ‘Rukhsat’ for their seniors. The event includes songs and dance performances. It is a fun-filled affair and at the same time, an emotional occasion.

Teachers’ Day

Teachers’ Day is celebrated at LBSIMDS to honour teachers for their sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students. A colourful cultural programme is presented by the students which comprises of scintillating dance performances and melodious singing performances.

Regalia

The institute organizes an inter-collegiate competition ‘Regalia’ every year that gives exposure to the students and a platform to mingle, interact and compete with students of other colleges. The programme comprises of onstage event like Solo Singing Competition, Ad Mad Show, Just a Minute, Group Dance Competition and Mr. & Ms. Regalia and off-stage event like Flower Arrangement, Rangoli, Mehndi and Face Painting Competitions..

Children’s Day –Rhythm

To celebrate Children’s Day, LBSIMDS organizes a cultural event “Rhythm” every year which artnesses a fantastic reversal of roles with teachers performing for the students and students cheering for them with full energy.

Rockers

Rockers is an annual cultural fest organized by the institute for its students that provides them an opportunity to unleash their talent and prove their mettle in the field/singing and dancing. The event is eagerly awaited by the students as it gives them a respite from the regular routine. s
